Jacket, Pants, Shoes & Bag - Zara

Playing with prints is certainly a fun fashion idea, whether it's a coordinated look or a mix of different prints. I know some prints can be overwhleming but it's only a matter of how you style them. A coordinated suit-piece like this one is not only good for office but also for those meetings where you need to look like the powerful business woman that you are! And I have always believed that dressing well is an alternative expression of feeling good and boosting your own confidence. Infact, most women like me, dress up only to please their own selves and feel good about themselves as opposed to the popular notion of women dressing up to please men. That's such B.S! Women dress for themselves and other women, we don't really care what men think about our sartorial choices but oh boy, we love to hear what other women have to say. Don't you agree?

A print on print outfit can instantly elevate your look and put the spotlight on you. If it's the same print, it's even better. Personally, I am a big fan of coordinated looks. They add just the perfect amount of chic that is needed. I bought this blazer-trouser suit from Zara about  a year ago and I still love it. It's perfect for office and even otherwise. What's great is that you can style the two pieces seperatly as well and they look equally good.

Here are my two ways to wear print on print:

1. SAME PRINT - If it's the same print, try to keep the overall look simple by adding light color accessories and wearing a plain white or black tee or shirt inside.

2. DIFFERENT PRINTS - If you are mixing pieces that have different prints, make sure they are poles apart from each other. The more they differ, the more your outfit will stand out. Add a solid color jacket on top of your printed seperates if you want to balance the look and not be all about prints.

If you'd like me to do a post about mixing different prints, leave me a comment below! :)
