So I've heard a lot of people say that green and yellow should never be worn together and it's against the rules of fashion etc. Firstly, I don't think there is any rulebook to fashion and style and how can there be one because style is such a personal thing! Everyone has their own sense of style and it stands out in the way they dress, talk, shop etc. So yes, I am a big advocate of experimentation and I honestly don't like to play by the rules.
I don't care if some fashion book or movie says green and yellow dont go well, if I like it and it makes me happy I will wear it. And you should too! Don't let anyone tell you what to wear and what not to wear. We dress for ourselves, to boost our confidence and most importantly, to feel good. If you feel good in wearing the things that everyone else hates, then it's their problem and not yours.
But honestly, I do think green and yellow looks good together, maybe not all the time but if you team it up with some prints it doesn't look like a harsh combination. I love layeringmy sweaters with shirts and teaming them up with neck-pieces. I feel this look is a great alternative to boring grey and black office-wear. Why not add some color to your outfit when you can?
