SWEATER WEATHER

SWEATER WEATHER

The sweater weather is upon us and I will agree that it is tough to keep your style quotient high on cold winter days. Layering is always a tricky job and heavy coats make it an uncomfortable deal. One winter wardrobe staple that every girl must have is a knit dress that can be worn with tights, jeans or just like that on not so cold days. Try to invest in a good woolen sweater dress that not only looks good but also keeps you warm, because that's the point of it, right? Put a layer of thermals inside if you know you're going to be out in the cold for long and team it up with thigh-high boots along with a layer of warm socks. The other option would be to do wear the dress with a parka vest or a down jacket vest, throw in a skinny belt on top of the vest jackets to add some edge to the outfit. This cable turtleneck sweater dress from J.Crew is my new winter BFF, I can style this dress in multiple ways plus wear it with or on top of anything because of its neutral grey color. That's another important thing, go for a neutral color that would go with anything and if you wear thermals inside to fight the cold like I do, go for a slightly lose fit.
