#MUSTREAD: YOUR GUIDE TO GETTING READY IN UNDER TEN MINUTES
No time to get ready, no problem? Here’s your guide to getting ready in ten minutes, without having to compromise on your style quotient. Here are some essential ingredients that you will need for this quick dressing recipe: The doomsday dress (The dress you wear on days when all hell breaks loose and you’ve got time for absolutely nothing but still have to look good), a pair of cool shoes, a pair of swanky sunglasses, a messenger bag and a lip-color.
Step 1: Put on your D-day dress JLT or over a tee if you’d like, like I did here. This H&M dress is a perfect D-day dress because it’s got wrinkled pleats all over which saves me the trouble to iron it and the red color works for any day and any time.
Step 2: If you think you can manage doing makeup in under 3 minutes, go for it. And if not, do what I do sometimes most times, put on some compact and wear a bright lip color. That’s all you need, really!
Step 3: Make your mane even messier by adding dry shampoo or some volumizing product. And if you don’t want to keep your hair open, tie them up in a messy top knot. I usually add some dry shampoo, work my hair with my own hands and that’s about it. Not a big fan of perfect hair, I like to keep it as natural as possible.
Step 4: Keep a pair of cool shoes preferably white sneakers (because they look good with everything) handy. Those are your go to shoes for all days when you have no time to decide which shoe goes with what. I have these pair of cool white shoes from Kenneth Cole that go with almost everything and are comfortable AF.
Step 5: Last but not the least, wear your swanky glasses, slide across a messenger bag and walk out of that door in style. See I told you, less than ten minutes!
