WHY YOU NEED A TIERED DRESS IN YOUR CLOSET
Tiered dresses are trending high on the fashion radar and there's no reason why they shouldn't be. Anything that makes you feel like Alice in Wonderland is always good, right? From Self-Portrait to Gucci to Elie Saab to Zara and Asos, almost all designers and brands have done their own versions of the decadent chic tiered dress. So I tried my hands on this much coveted style, so you don't have to (or maybe you do). Oh and yeah, I was sold in an instant.
And to be honest, I love the tiered style so much now that I went and bought two more dresses of the same style (hey, no judging please). But I have my reasons, so let me take you through the tale of the tiered dresses. Buckle up!
1. Tiered dresses are time-traveling outfits: Put on a tiered dress and tell me you didn't feel like you belonged to the 60s era of gorgeous lady-like dresses and romantic clothing. It's like these dresses have a special power of taking you back in time and bringing out that refined elegance in you. No wonder Gucci used the tiered style for most of their dresses in the past couple of collections.
2. Say bye to form fitting: Never been a big fan of body-con anyway, but the tiers will take away attention from all unwanted areas (not that you need to hide anything) and present a well-put outfit that is totally fuss free.
3. A must-have closet classic: A tiered dress/skirt is an absolute must have because there are truly so many ways to style it, so versatile, elegant and classic. Take this dress for instance, it can be worn with a biker jacket and some sneakers to add for an edgy take, it can also be worn as an ethnic Indian garb but adding some traditional jewelry.
