YOUR GUIDE TO EASY-CHIC

YOUR GUIDE TO EASY-CHIC

What's Easy-chic? Well, for me, it's anything that looks effortless yet chic & stylish. I guess it's when you don't go crazy thinking over an outfit but truly carry it off really well with a certain comfort & ease. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't be putting an effort into your outfit or your styling, but rather not go overboard with too many items that can make your final look feel cluttered. Another important thing to remember is that, easy-chic goes hand-in-hand with comfort.

So whether you're wearing pants, skirt or a dress, don't forget about the comfort factor. One of the hacks I use all the time, is to have a dress that's super chic yet super comfortable to wear and I usually prefer wearing cotton fabrics because you know it's always hot here in India. This baby blue ruffle dress from Shein, falls right under the easy-chic zone. It's got the ruffles (love), bow (big-time love), pastel blue shade (love) and the 100% cotton fabric (yay). So on days when I am super lazy (which is almost every day except fashion-week days) to dress up, I put on a dress like this, with some cute sandals and I really don't worry about how my hair or my makeup (which is basically a five-step guide) looks. After all, easy-chic is all about comfort and if you're comfortable, you're confident & if you're confident, you're stylish. Am I right?
