ETHNIC VIBES IN SUE MUE

ETHNIC VIBES IN SUE MUE

I've always been the one to be intrigued by a brand's story first and then the cloths. One such brand that caught my attention about 3 months back when I had just arrived in India, is Sue Mue. Sue Mue was born out of the passion a women had for making clothes for her daughters, that later caught on the eye of many older women who wanted to wear similar clothes. And today the brand stands tall under the leadership of the same woman. Incredible, isn't it?

But what's even more incredible are the clothes, I remember receiving my first dress that I wore for Lakme Fashion Week. I could sense the passion and the craftsmanship that had gone into that dress. Rarely do I call a piece of clothing pristine perfect, but this outfit really was. So I went on to explore more outfits from Sue Mue, and every time it's a new love affair.

I mean just look at this outfit, would you? The exquisite and detailed hand-work along with the contemporary silhouette makes this outfit a ten on ten, for real. It perfectly encapsulates the essences of the modern woman in India who are all about progress and moving ahead in life but at the same time, want to be deeply associated with their roots. As the brand calls it, it is made for the woman of substance and I couldn't agree more!
