HERE'S HOW TO UP YOUR INSTAGRAM SELFIE GAME
Who doesn't like taking a good selfie shot every now and then (except Anna Wintour)?! We've all long been bitten by the selfie bug and let's admit that this fever's not leaving our bodies and brains anytime soon.
So here's how you can up your Instagram Selfie game, read on:
1. It's all about the angles, find yours soon!
Experiment with the angles of your shot, take it from the up, take it from the bottom, right and left. Look at all the pictures and evaluate which angle flatters your face the most and that's how you'll find your 'selfie angle'.
2. Good light does wonders
Good lighting is the key to take good selfies. Look for natural light as that's the most flattering but if you know you'll be going to a dimly lit place, make sure your highlight your face well with a brightening stick. That can do wonders, we tell ya!
3. Extend your neck forward
Hmm, so you want to know how to instantly lose 5 pounds off your face? You gotta extend that neck forwards and tighten those face muscles a bit and there you got an instant facelift!
4. Hold the camera close
Accentuate your face by holding the camera close and not at a hand's distance.
5. Do not be the duck
You know what's more annoying than the morning alarm, is seeing duck face selfies all over Instagram. No you don't need to pout the hell out of your lips to make a good selfie. Please leave that to the ducks and embrace natural smiles, slightly pursed lips or even those crazy laughter poses. While duck face is a complete no-no, fish gape selfie (That face all models make by sucking in the cheeks a little bit and mouth open slightly just to show the beginning of upper teeth) is thumbs up for sure.
